My 2004 F150 4x4 superCrew's steering wheel is vibrating side to side when I let go the wheel.I still have the stock General tires with 48,000 plus miles.Have not checked inflation yet.The truck steers straight when I let go the wheel but there is that noticeable movement of the steering wheel.Could it be alingment?Tires are showing a little wear on the outside.Need your opinion before taking it somewhere and be ripped off!!!
Thanks in advance.

Get the General's off the truck. That's the first thing I did with my 01 F150. Bought it with 16k on it. A vibration is not an alignment problem. Sounds like you really have a front tire that is seperated.
I'm a hard core Bridgestone fan. If you're going to look at A/T's look at the Bridgestone Dueller A/T Revo. Or if you want a goot all around tire, better for hiway driving, look at the Dueller H/L Allenza.
