I had a topic a while back about my left rear brake caliper seizing up and it being replaced under warranty. I bought my 07 F-350 in May of 2007 and it had 28,000 miles. I drive real easy and don't tow that often and when I did the trailer had good brakes.
Now my left front brake caliper is seized up (my diagnosis), it was crazy hot the other day after driving down the highway and is now squeeling sometimes unless I hit the brakes, it is exactly what the LR did back in April.
I have a few questions. 1. Should the calipers be seizing like this? 2. Will it still be under warranty, even with it being past 3 years? 3. If not covered how much do you think it will cost to get a front caliper, pads and rotor replaced?
