proper proceedure
What is the proper proceedure to check level of trans fluid for both the 4R100 and the 5R110 auto trans. I was always told to place the trans in neutral but my buddy says you can leave it in park. Which is correct? If it matters any.

It doesn't matter. You'll get the same reading in park and neutral.
