Hello folks,
I have a 2000, Ford F250, 5.4L, 4x4. I had the u-joint go bad on the dirvers side and have successfully replaced the that. I am getting killed by the knuckle seal.

I do not think I am being sold the right one. It is a National Seal 710493. The inside diameter is way to small to press on. I made one of the knuckle seal tools as described here and no amount of hitting or pressing is putting that thing on there.

No maybe I am a moron, but when I put it on, put the whole thing back together I cannot get the snap ring on with the thrust washers. I have tried the seal for the 2005 and it just has a metal cap on the same seal it appears. Anyway, help me out folks.
