My truck still has all the stickers attatched, and legible, but none of the numbers seem to line up with anything I can find. Can someone tell me where it is located? These are the numbers I found on the Vacuum diagram, and the vin tag in the driversdoor.

The yellow Calibration code sticker on your 1981 300-I6 is located on the Engine Valve cover right in the front, in the general area where the thermostat housing is. It's one of the first stickers to be damaged with engine heat so yours may be missing.
It will have a number and letter calibration code on it as a loose example: "CK265AA" and it will also have a set of numbers below this code for month, date and year of the engine build. The corrosponding numbers will be physically punched out for the date of build.
There will also be a Engine plant code before the calibration code. "C-1" as example for the Cleaveland Engine Plant Number one.
Mine is loooong gone. Is there no other place on the truck to get this info? Kinda an oversight for them not put this info somewhere safer. I have oem vacuum gadgets and gizzmos that came off the truck, which aren't even shown on the vacuum diagram. Anytime I connect the EGR or Vac advance I lose power and or its start knocking on the highway. Iwas hoping to find a calibration-specific diagram on the internet that might show something the truck-mounted one doesn't.
