Hi i am new to this forum i have a important questio everytime i speed up in my 1998 4x4 expedition ed it starts to buck when i am accelarating to get on the freeway any help appericated.
All the more reason to think it's one of the COPs. It's a real bear to get a misfire code to set when a COP is acting up. Some people have been able to get the light to set by driving the truck harder than normal, such as jackrabbit starts and rapid acceleration.
i am going to be driving across country with a 6x12 foot trailer should i replace them before that my dad died and i do not have any money at all we are asking my aunt to loan us money just to make it across or is it something that could cause a break down.

They're $70 a piece at an auto store or $10 a piece if you order them off eBay. Being as how funds are tight, it doesn't seem feasible to be buying them locally and replace them all. I don't know how long to have until you're leaving, but if time allows, I'd order the ones online to save the money. You could buy just 2 instead of a whole set and swap out two at a time until you find the problematic COPs.
Sorry about your Dad.
Where 'across country' are you heading to?
