West Coast Customs built the personal truck and the movie stand ins for Stalone, the build was on one of the TV reality shows. They were originally supposed to build 56's, but after chopping the tops on the 56's without widening the top (typical WCC quickie work) they couldn't get the glass to fit so the switched to the slant cabs to meet the build deadline.

Talking

Just got back from seeing the movie. It was GREAT!!! I saw a wierd lookin truck in there.NO it wasnt Stalone's truck, in the village scene where the bad guys were rounding up the town's people and such there was this cream colored truck that had a '56 F100 grille in it but looked like an early '60's Ford truck? It kind of looked factory?? Does anybody know what the heck this thing was or is? I'm a techtard, so dont look for me to be posting a picture of it, but maybe somebody else will. Anyway, if you're lookin for a kick butt action flick, this movie is good. I was kind if leary of watching it with that many name brand actors in it, but it really delivered in my opinion. And there were several Ford trucks in it

I took my wife to it yesterday. It was pretty good, but I have to admit I cried when they beat up the star of the show...; I hope they can get the door back on and fix all of that bodywork!

Haven't seen it but from what you describe I would say it's probably a 1957 Ford truck.

I saw the flick and thought it was a bit over the top action wise, (a handful of guys wipe out a small army) but overall pretty good. Mickey Rourke's character was really good. The truck was a slantcab, a 53 as I recall. (grille anyway)

Saw the Flick too. A lot of good action, funny parts, pretty good story(typical action story).

Ive been getting my truck rounded up to re-paint. Little Body work, this and that. Ive always liked the Flat Hot Rod Black, I just think it looks freaking TUFF, after seeing the flick. Im pretty much set on it. Thanks Sly!!!! Ha.....

So far what I've been able to watch on the internet has been good so far. I like all the actors, from my era...lol The only thing I dont like about the truck is the rims, they have to go other than that its awsome...
