New Order Questions

I'm about ready to order this truck. I intend to add a Lance truck camper to it. I've owned lots of Fords, but never a diesel.

F250 Super Duty Crew Cab XLT – 2WD, Short Bed

Options

6.7 Diesel
Automatic, HD 6-Spd
Camper Pkg
Alternator, Extra HD 200-Amp
Axle Ratio, 3.31 w/Electronic Locking
Mirrors, Dual Heated Power
Seats, Cloth Luxury Captain's Chairs
Switches, (4) Upfitter

I’m not quite sure what ‘Engine Idle Shutdown’ option is. It's a $250 option. Can someone clarify?

I figure the 3.31 would improve the mileage, since there is still plenty of power to haul the camper.

I'm going to install the Amp Power Step to save the wife's knees.

Comments and suggestions are welcome...

What GVW are you selecting? I am unfamiliar with the exact options on the F250 but I did see 10000 # GVW F250's. The F350 does go to 11500 GVW for a few dollars more. Happy shopping.

The GVW is 10,000. The weight of the camper is only 2364.
