Some can be removed with screws and Clips (not sure on the ford never tried to take one apart before) Or you might have to go thru the firewall from the engine compartment. I'll look on my 93 bronco tomorrow maybe that'll help.
Pop the hood. At the back of the fire wall there is a weather strip that run along the top. The weather strip is held in place with screws. These screws also hold the cowl in place. Remove screws and you can gain access to the wiper motor. Dont forget to lubricate it when you have it out. Also a good idead to shoot some rust inhibiter in there.
PS be careful removing the cowl. Would be a good idea to run some duct tape around the adjacent paenel to prevent them from being damaged. It takes a little work to get the cowl out and back in place. There is some foam attached to the back of the cowl. Try not to disrupt it.
