Question

BB SHIM MOD??????

I have a previous thread about the 7.3L with smoking and no power. I checked the fuel pressure and its showing 48psi. They said it should be no less than 55psi. They said something about a BB shim mod, any ideas on what this is and how to do it?

48 lbs is just fine. That's within the stock truck's normal parameters. But, if you want a bit more out of your truck, do the FPR shim.

Check the fuel pressure after you do the mod.....I blew one of the fuel hoses after doing it too. LOL

Like I said, 30-70 PSI at 3K RPMS is the factory listing.
