Cool Does it ever end?

Seriously, I've had my truck back for less than 24 hours. I pull up in my driveway today, hop out of the truck only to be greeted by a huge puddle of power steering fluid pouring out from under the truck.

THIS DAMN TRUCK HASN'T MADE IT A SINGLE WEEK SINCE SEPTEMBER WITHOUT SOMETHING BREAKING.

I'm getting seriously pissed.

Ok, rant over. Nothing more to see here.

Short answer... "No".

But you already knew that anyway, Curtis. Sorry for the "perpetuals" you're having.

Thats no biggie Curtis. Just a hose, or connection, or pump, or brake booster, or transmission, or trans cooler, or trans cooler line. You know, something easy.

Well, I think Rick has narrowed it down for you. I know Curtis, some things just never seem to end. My guess is either the PS lines going to the steering box or the ones going to the brake booster.

Power steering hose where it passes the left front shock tower?

It's a common wear area.

Step 1. Go to liquor store.
Step 2. Purchase whiskey, coke (if you prefer), and ice.
Step 3. Go home.
Step 4. Put ice in a glass, open whiskey, pour over ice (add coke if desired). Repeat as necessary, or until the bottle is empty.
Step 5. Let the hangover wear off.
Step 6. Fix whatever is broken this time

Dude!?!? You must have really ticked off the diesel gods or something...

Step 5 should be "If you are still unhappy, repeat steps 1-4"

Sorry man.

I'm trying to figure out how to appease the diesel gods. Am I supposed to smoke out a Prius or something?

Just cripple it over here this weekend Curtis and you can get a helping hand. Maybe with the extra hands some of that bad juju will get scared off.

Curtis, I feel you man. When my PS pump went, it was the reservoir that had cracked.
