...my daughter has lost the radiator in her Volvo 850 while visiting friends in Flagstaff. Meineke is looking at $500+, with $260 of it being the radiator. Having replaced a few radiators in my day, $500+ seem a little high.
It's quite a stretch for me to get to her from San Antonio, do you guys have any recommendations on shops in Flagstaff that won't gouge her eyes out on labor.
Your more than welcome, I just talked to Travis and he said to call Randy's it is downtown 928 774 1006. He did apologize that he could not be of further help to her. Please keep us posted as to how she makes out.
Is it a turbo 850? The radiator on those is particularly difficult. Either way (turbo or NA), the radiator comes out the bottom. Its no easy task. Wish I was closer, 850s are my specialty.
We opted to just to proceed and get her back on the road. i could have purchased a radiator for less, but the overnight freight would have made up the difference in the price they are charging for the radiator. The labor price is what I have a problem with...probably because I always do my own work. But if you say it is now easy task Duck Fan, then I suppose it is probably worth it.
