Your truck should have the attachment points for the sway bars now. Here is a pic from my '89 Ford service manual.
No, a truck without sway bars will not have the mounting hardware required to attach the swaybar to the front axle. The bracket fits between the spring and the front axle. Trucks without a swaybar will not have the bracket.
I got my sway bars today lol took forever because its hot as hell....
So now I just have to get the bracket for the front that goes under the springs... I may try to take them off the same truck if I can't get them at the auto parts store....
Do not run just a sway bar on the rear. It will cause handling issues and is not safe. Alot of vehicles come with a front sway bar and no rear sway bar. None come with a rear and no front.
The auto parts store will not have the necessary brackets to mount a factory front sway bar. You need either used ones from a donor truck or new ones from Ford or NPD/LMC. Maybe Bronco Graveyard has them.
It was easier to just get an aftermarket front since the provisions weren't there for it.
