What kind of Toyo's were they? What size? MT's, AT's, or HT's?

Not sure on model. May have been the softer ones. I just have not found anyone who has had great things to say about them. He did say they were about $400 a tire. That's just crazy in my mind. $200 is pushing it for me.
I skipped the other post when i read that you got 60,000 miles on BFG'S it's hard to get that kind of mileage out of any tire on these trucks, my factory tire's Firestones 79,000 Pro Comp,AT 43,000 , If you get 60,000 out of the BFG"S That's good. JMOP.

That was with the 285's only though. The 265's, not as good, only about 40-45k. Most of my driving is hiway though.

$400??? That's crazy! I paid around $160 IIRC.
Yours is the first bad thing I've heard about the Open Country tires.
ive got 315/75/16 dick cepek fun country II i do not know what they run new i gave $175 a piece for them they were blims the white wall is not perfect. i have around 30,000 miles on them and they still have over half thread. they have woren good so far guess we will see how long they last.
Well going with the BFG A/T's. 265/74R16E. Same as I had before. Found out I have 46k on these and could go another 7k to 10k. But I dont feal good a out traveling to Idaho on a hunting trip with the posibility of weather with only 7 to 10k left. Would like 285's but no real need. Plus I can't fit a 285 in the spare location.
I have Hankook DynaPro ATm RF10's in 285/75R16E on my truck now and LOVE them. They're quiet on the highway, and traction in snow has been awesome. I've had them in powdery CO snow (22") with no traction problems, and wet, heavy East Coast snow (20"+) also with no problems. They just grip & go. I like them so much that when considering new wheels, I've checked to see what tires are available in that rim size to make sure I can get another set.
Anybody ever had Dunlop Radial Rover Maxx Tractions? Commercial grade (no idea what that means) E rated tire at a decent price. They are M/T's but the tread looks no more aggressive than an A/T. I'm looking at them to replace my Michelins that came on my truck. Tires are a must before this winter. They're an RCH away from slicks at this point...

They're good tires. I've only driven them on test drives though. They "feel" good. They make a little humming noise on the highway, not too bad.
