brake caliper moves?

brake caliper moves?
ive got a question about my 76 f250 4x4. when i hit the brakes i notice a clunking sound, i looked underneath by the caliper and when i hit the brakes the caliper moves a little more than an eigth inch wanting to rotate and hits the caliper bracket. im wondering if there is supposed to be some kind of bushing or clip where the caliper mounts?

It sounds like you might be missing the small wedge spring, basic p/n 2B486 in the illustration.
This is the dual piston caliper, if yours is single piston it is similar.

Yeah, they might be available separately but I know for sure that they come in the brake hardware kit. The kit will include the wedge, bolt, spring and anti-rattle clip.
