Found some good stuff
Went for a drive south of Moose Jaw yesterday to look for a guy that has lots of old cars and some trucks and we found him. Most of his stuff is cars from the early 30's to the early 60's. He did have some ford trucks from 47 to 53. He had a complete 53 M100 for sale also. My buddy had the camera so I don't have any pictures right now, so keep the flames off please.

I didn't see any trucks of that vintage, next time out I will ask though. We plan on going back in a few weeks.

He was busy with someone else when we left so I didn't ask but the truck was complete except for the motor and tranny.

It sounds like that 53 would be perfect for a quick 302/C4 transplant if it`s not too rusty or banged up like most are.

I didn't notice any rust and there weren't any big dints, but it did look like the box was just sitting on the frame.

There almost has to be some rust somewhere, smaller dents aren`t a big concern.

Usually cab corners and the eyebrows over the front fenders are bad for rust.

There wouldn't happen to be any 73-79 F-150 or F-250's there, were there?
I've been searching long and hard for a decent body to work on for my truck because mine is shot.
Let me know if anything good from those years was there. I'm not looking to buy more junk (my current body).
