Stuck injectors

Stuck injectors

I have a 2009 F350 6.4 diesel with 19k miles on it and had 2 injectors stick open (5&8), no engine lights came on just started running rough. It is at the dealer now, pulled the head found #5 rocker arm and valve are bent.
To get this fixed the dealer has to pull the cab to get to #5?
Has anyone had something similar happen, if so what problems can I expect down the road if any!

pulling the cab is not that big of a deal, it should be the same as before.

Did your truck sit for a long time prior to this?

Oil changes how often?

no it did not sit, I drive 50 miles per day, synthetic oil every 10k miles

well hard to say why they would have failed. Rather rare.

Early on there were some because of sitting on the lots for so long..but that was two years ago.

Your truck was designed to have the cab removed to work on the motor. **** poor design in my opinion (once the warranty goes out), but since it was made specifically for that, don't worry about removing the cab.

Usually stuck open injectors tend to put holes in pistons. If you just need a valve job and some new rockers, the only issues I see is you'll be without your truck for a couple of weeks.

Thank you for the input. I had 2-6.0's never had a problem once with them. Oh well...
