Fuel Injector I.D

I had a guy do an engine swap from a 4.6 to a 5.4 and I think he put the 4.6 injectors into the 5.4. The number on the injectors I pulled are FOTE-D5B. Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't the 5.4 have 24# injectors where the 4.6 has 19# injectors?

It's a 2V. I tried asking my Ford dealership about it and they sounded like they really didn't know. The parts guy told me that the 4.6 took the FOTE-D5A and the 5.4 took the FOTE-D1A and they didn't have any info in their computer about the pounds (#'s) of each part number.

So the FOTE-D5B is the correct injector for the '03 5.4?

Still trying to find out if the FOTE-D5B injectors are good for the 2003 5.4.

I've looked at websites and I have become very confused.

Is the 5.4 supposed to have 19# or 24# injectors?

Ok Yellow and Black is a 19lb injector.

As far as 5.4 the HP rating is within the 4.6 rating by 20-40 hp on that truck so I don't see why it would use a bigger injector. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be a 19lb injector, but I'll keep looking...

Just so you know a 24lb injector on the old style is a stubby blue and black injector. The newer injectors are a very thin profile....

I couldn't find anything....

If you are worried about it hook up a tuner to it that can see injector duty cycle and put the truck on a dyno...you will know if those injectors will be ok or not....OR just throw a set of 24lbs on there and it won't hurt anything...

My injectors are short and stubby. I'll give these ones a shot and see if there are any problems
