I remember the million miles tested claim for the 6.4 then right after release people were freezing their snow packed air cleaners shut .. I was wondering how they missed that Little prob
I will trust the real world testing the folks who are brave enough to plunk down serious $$ are going to do for them
I know the feeling. I did the same thing 7 weeks ago. I just returned from Oshkosh Airventure. Almost 2000 miles with all smiles. It felt so good to go on a trip and just enjoy the truck.
Regards
Guys don't get me wrong.... I loved my 6.0 This new 6.7 doesn't even sound like a diesel But after being stranded twice with failed fuel injectors pulling a 30' Toy Hauler and the family, it just doesn't give you a warm and fuzzy going on trips.
Anyway, took it to the Brooks and Dunn (Last Rodeo) concert in St. Louis last night... Awsome show... And the truck sure get a lot of looks.
But as everyone says time will tell on the 6.7. Wasn't thrilled about buying a first year engine but from all reports and testing it appears to be solid. Remember technology is improving all the time and this one wasn't rushed to market.

The actually mention in the 6.7 owners guide to check the air filter unit during snow storms for packed snow in the unit. So guess that is still an issue with the diesels... They do need air to run....
