Left O2 sensor...from which vantage point?
542 indicates that one of the following has occurred:
Engine Starts:
- Fuel pump secondary circuit short to power.
- Fuel pump relay contacts always closed.
- Open in FPM circuit between PCM and connection to the power-to-pump circuit.
- Left/front HO2S short to power (dual HO2S applications).
- Damaged Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
137 indicates
Oxygen sensor not switching/system rich Left or Front HO2S
So is the left one the left side as I'm standing in front of the engine or when I'm sitting in the cab? I know it's a dumb question but my brain is frazzled trying to figure this out.

In reference to 542...Do the first three indicate that the pump is always running?? Mine isn't. It primes when you turn the key but I cannot tell anything beyond that.
