I could have spent hundreds of dollars but I like the stock column but they are too high so I cut mine.
I have a volare clip so I needed to change the U-joints as well.
Took off about 6 inches total and reset the column into the holder near the dash. On the holder I have a light to tell me if the rear brake light are working in case the pressure sensor fails. Also a cut off switch for my fans.
That should give you plenty of "growing"room Ed. Nice job, but in the pictures it looks like you don't have much room for your knuckles. Is that just from the angle of the photos?
We are heading to Lost wages next weekend. Need some R&R. Plenty of room must be the angle of the shot. Was going to take her down lower. Might do that. Have another Double D shaft I can cut lower and change once I want to change back.
