When I am driving down a road with some minor bumps or go over a speed bump i get an odd Jingling noise under the truck. It almost sounds like ther is a chain down there rattling around. It is very odd and I can seem to point out which side it is on, if i drive by a curb and listen i can hear it very clear on both sides. I dont know if maybe it is the lift kit (fabtech).
Help please!
1st thing I'd check would be the exhaust guards for any loose or falling out. If that's all good, then I'd check all of my shock and suspension linkages and springs for excessive wear or broken parts.
Do you have lift blocks in the rear? Long story short, I had a lifted Z71 that jingled every time I hit a bump and finally only after I removed the lift to trade it in, I found the culprit.
It was the pins inside the lift blocks, that secure them to the spring perch! It absolutely drove me insane!!
