Just talked to Peter on the phone. They got the new radiator in and just took it for a drive with the A/C blasting and the temp gauge is behaving itself. He pulled a 6% 5 mile grade with out any issues!!!
Lets keep our fingers crossed the rest of the trip goes ok.

I too know his pp account if anyway els wants to help out. Hannah and I sent him a gift earlier and offered to help with more but Peter being the modest guy he is didnt ask for anything. If anyone els is up for helping them you figure even one night longer of feeding 9 people is a min. of $45 even at Mc. Donalds. Plus trying to save enough to get them enough fuel to get home in an excursion that has a 40 gallon tank.
Pete told me the generosity has been a huge blessing and appreciates the help.

Thank you all so much. Short rundown: Tried to leave town this morning. Pulled the hill on I70 out of Denver (6% grade for 8 to 10 miles). Truck overheated about 3 miles up the hill @65* ambient temp.
Replaced the radiator today. Climbed the hill @70* ambient. EGTs 1150, 11 psi boost for the whole hill. No overheating whatsoever. Also the AC was on max front and rear.
We are planning on heading home tomorrow. My wife flew home tonight to start a new job tomorrow. I am bringing the 7 kids home solo. (well I have 2 other members traveling in convoy with us)
