ABS problem

I have a 05 f350 4x4 drw and last weekend the abs light came on then went off a couple times. I noticed it only comes on in parking lots or were I make a shape left turn. I can make it come on by turning the wheel full lock to the left, anyone have any idea's. Thanks

Got the codes read today and I have a c1145 and a u1900. The 1145 is a rf wheel speed sensor and I dont know what the u1900 is.

Im having a similar problem myself...2005 F350 SRW... started out with a jumpy speedometer and my ABS light would come on every time i hit a bump, it has now progressed to a dead speedo and a solid ABS light at all times..whatever it is i hope i can get it fixed soon because its making my MPG's go down to about 5, due to the shift timing of the tranny running off of the speed sensors ... I have codes P0500 which is a fault in vehicle speed sensor A, U1900 which is CAN communication Bus fault-receive error, and U2023 which im still trying to find the meaning of...dealership told me there was some kind of update for the instument cluster..ever heard of it? good luck and stay in touch, mabey we can figure this out

From what I have read the rear sensor at the rearend housing is not that expensive and easy to change. I think I would give that a try 1st.

the u code is a network fault. check the speed sensor on the RF. the connector is on the back of the inner fender see a few damaged there. but the RF is were you need to be looking.

I checked out the right front speed sensor where it connects to the hub, i gave it a wiggle and sure enough my ABS light went off, test drove it and it flickered when i hit any bumps...i couldnt seem to find the connector on the fender but it seems to me like it may just be loose at the hub or something of the sorts? could i have a problem in my hub causing this? thanks so much for your help!

could be in the hub, more common is just the sensor.

Two different problems being described here, two different solutions.

To the person with the code indicating right front, check the right front speed sensor and wiring.

To the person with the dead speedometer, check the Vehicle Speed Sensor on top of the rear differential (and wiring).

ive checked and re-checked the rear diff speed sensor, even changed it out to make sure, no luck...went up front and tinkered with the front speed sensor and its finally starting to come around...still jumps some when i hit bumps but at least i know im heading in the right direction...now just gotta figure out if its a bad sensor or just loose..

you can check the wheel speed sensor with a volt meter. set the dvom to ac voltage and spin the wheel by hand. just in case you didnt figure it out you will need to jack up the truck up high enugh to spin the wheel by hand.

Ill add that to my to do list for tomorrow...is there a certain voltage I should be looking for or just that there is a rise in the voltage as the wheel spins? And if it is bad should I go ahead and change the LF sensor as well?
