new guy need help asap
hey well im tranny is acting up and im going to be buying a new one but the problem is i dont no what tranny i have in my truck i have a bunch of numbers off of the tranny plz help me the tranny number is eota 7003 dafe 1911680 1435 the truck is a 3/4 ton 4x4 4 speed 351 m 1980 f250

The Np-435 is cast iron, with an aluminum top (The T-18 top is NOT aluminum, but cast as well). It has a PTO cover on the.....passenger side, if memory serves. Put a magnet on the top, if it doesn't stick, and matches the description, that should be the mohican

thank for the help i think its a np 435 it has to spots to drain the oil out of it one and one to top it up and they are inline with each other and i will go check to see if a magntic sticks to the top of it

thanks guys for the help ans yes the pto is on the passanger side and i scraped of the grud on the top plate and found to stamp in the top plat witch is aluminam and the was a gear with a np in the middle of it and below that there was another stamp with 79 in the middle if it so it time to start the hunt for a np 435 and get this truck out 4x4ing just put a king pin 60 up front love the solid axles
