Yeah i have been calling around no luck yet. Whats even worse my work has a twin truck to mine leaving for the scrap yard but they won't allow me to take the part off because they say it will be too difficult to tow
Well I am now allowed to take the axle shafts from the old truck at work. I have to make sure that the tire can be put back on for tow purposes which I don't get but hey its free so I'll take it.

with no axle shafts you cant put the tire back on.
The guy at my local parts store told me that trucks with less than 8000lb gvwr had d44's and anything above had d50's. does that sound right or was he giving me an earful?
the only way to tell what axle you have is by looking at it. that is the reason parts stores give out so many wrong parts. computers do not know everything.
i have 2 identical 8600 gvw f250's with 4 digits difference in their Vin numbers, one has a D-50, the other has a D-44. the pictures Andy m posted of the hubs came from those 2 trucks
