Any one running universal traction bars on their 2x4? Pics?

i had these on my truck, they are made by lakewood and are for 80-up trucks with 3" springs. i just redrilled them and got 2.5" u bolts and they worked great, stpped the nasty wheel hop all together.

only problem is now i upgraded to 3" springs so i have to wed up the wholes and redrill them again..

they mount to the springs, in front and in back of the axle under the rear..

I think I have the lakewood's too...I got them from summit for $40 (on my 66 mustang)....FYI, summit has their own brand too.

Best damned mod I ever did. Stopped wheel hop 100% on my launches.

the universal ones dont fit the trucks.. the truck ones run about 150.00 if i remember rite.

Lake wood makes two different Universal sets. I think one set is 28 inches and the other set is 32 inches ( I could be wrong on the lengths). The longer set is supposed to fit trucks according to Summit.

Has anyone tried installing the Lakewood LAK22026 Heavy Duty Universal Traction Bars on your 2 wd? Summit told me they would work. Looks like the bolts are to short and the yoke area between the two mounting flanges is too short. The bolts are an easy enough fix, but the front flange lines up with the front side of the shackle.
