hey guys, need some help. Just hit 900 miles on my 03 4x4 & when driving in 2wd I heard a humming noise & felt some vibration from the front at approx 40 mph. After I switched to A4wd I heard a loud clunk & then the noise & vibration stopped.
Need some advice on what the fix is as the dealerships usually don''t know. Is there a TSB on this problem??
Yes, it's a known issue. Yes, there's a TSB. There are several long threads about it here and on flatratetech as well. Some of us were wondering whether it had been fixed by now on the production line ... but your post leads me to believe that it has not. Do a search and you should find the info, but anyway don't despair: it's fixable. Best to leave your truck in A4WD until you get the TSB done.
thanks for your reply. I was able to find the TSB (#02-25-07) but I don't know exactly what is says. I"ll let he dealership know next week when I drop it off.
You are correct though.......my truck was built this Jan & still has the problem others have had.
