I NEED SOME HELP
I have a 1992 4wd explorer sport v6 4.0 with manual transmision and electric shift contrl module. Ten months ago, one day when a was trying to use my 4wd it just click, but nothing hapened. The mechanic finded a problem with the boton, the problem was fixed inmediatly.
One month later, some day when I used again may 4wd, I heared extrange noise in may front axle, a noise sounds like a BRRRRRRRRRRRRR, constant, but the noise wasnt comes alone, a hard vibration likes a BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR too, apairs at the same time.
I disarm my automatic hubs and push the four wheel drive boton again, the transmission engages but the wheel (logic) no. The noises and vibrations dont comes any more. I put again everything in his place and the noise and vibration comes again.
Is may automatic hub the problem? or the axle?
what you people sugest that I must to do?
The dealer of FORD here in Paraguay is SO BAD, they dont understand nothing about american cars, and only toch and repair brasilian fords
