The only thing the GP controller effects are the GP's

You should have not trouble.

MauleOne, I'm just curious, where do you keep and run your boat, I'm supposing that you are either running a charter or commercial boat.

Ok, thanks!
Then what is the wire with the snap plug that goes to the fuel pump for?
At least I think I remember tracing it to the fuel pump...

There are no wires to the fuel pump, and the only wires to the IP is the fss wire and the cold start advance, neither comes from the gp controller. It will start and run just with the fss wire attached and powered up.

Fuel shutoff solenoid, it is the only thing that absolutely has to have voltage for these engines to run.

Boat

Primarily salmon charters in Aug. Didn't get in on the halibut IFQ split.

If I could figure this thing out I would post pictures of engines/boat etc.
