August BS

Time for the August bs spot.

I started off August by adjusting my carb, putting a duraspark II in my '69, listened to some loud rock and roll and drank some beer while doing it.

How about you all, any bs to start the month with?

Gonna wind down three work days this week before taking a couple of weeks off. Next weekend planning to go to a relative's house in Seward Park (Seattle) close to the hydro pits to bbq and party with the air show skimming the roof top...

I got some work done on my 67, drank a bunch of beer, and managed to get a few things done around the house also.

I have a bolt that refuses to come out of my radius arm bracket. So far its Bolt 5, Ethan 0. Drill bits, easy outs, pb blaster, left hand threaded bolts, hours of work... its sad. The price of not having a complete machine shop in my garage.

But the good news is that i didn't switch to geico. Its not cheaper for me.

Not sure what year and model you are working on, but some Fords have rivets securing the bolts. The rivets will have to be drilled or punched (after grinding) to remove the bolts. Could be your problem...
