My 1984 6.9 diesel truck with T19 manual transmission has the light, too. But not wiring. Just the letters.

My 1984 F 150 has a 302 with the 4 speed OD. the shift light is their in the dash but does not light up ether. Does anyone know if it can be hooked up on the 302?

IIRC it was blacked out but will recheck it when out in the garage again as they are both sitting on the bench waiting for their time for the best to be installed.
Being 81's neither were a feed back system so no ECM.

Kinda weird that it had it. I took it out when i took out the stupid cruise control the p.o. had so many wires going nowhere under my dash it looked like a bird nest under my dash not any more
