2003 expedition Eddie bauer

Just changed transfer case shift motor and no dash indicator lights and four wheel drive does not work. What to look at next?

Could be a fuse (don't have fuse diagram for '03 so can't tell you which), or it could simply be bad wiring or a bad selector switch.

Fuse is good. But I do have 2 dead fuses in box. Are these fuse box's known for failure?

Fuses for 4 wd.are all good but do have 2 dead fuses. Are these fuse boxes notorious for failure? When should power be found on shift motor?
