The 4:30's in my Ex tow my 7K lb trailer with no problem and I don't try to save gas, I'll set the crusie for 65 to 70 mph and let her go on the open road.

Yeah, that's the other thing, as Joe aka X_Hemi_Guy would put it: "Let her rev" The V10 will pull any load you ask it to, just let it work and do what it needs to. Fuel economy isn't the goal when towing, it's to get whatever you have behind you, on down the road safely.

Correct, @ 3200 RPMs the thing seems like it will pull up a wall!!!!!!!!!!
