seat swap

will 04 buckets from a supercab fit a 99 regular cab without too much modification? Are there aspects of them that are bolt in?

I think they will, but the angle is such that you have to have the seats at almost a 90 degree angle (they are pushed up against the rear window). So they are VERY uncomfortable without modification.

Actually no, the rear mounts will not meet up.

Supercab seat mounts are different than regular cab seat mounts

I thought all explorers and rangers had the same mount spacing to the body, but the difference was the angle/design of the seat (my cousin put explorer seats in a reg cab 96). But come to think of it, he may of had to use the tracks from the 96 on the explorer seats.

Just thinking out loud here.

You can easily swap seat tracks, that is also common.

will the seat tracks from my 60/40 bench bolt up to the 04 supercab seats? Or would I need to get bucket tracks?

You need bucket seat tracks. The 60/40 tracks have the middle section welded on.

Then technicaly you could just cut the middle part (right hand side of drivers seat track).

That part supports the middle seat section
