well if your feeling it shake the steering wheel then at least you know its up front.
i wounder if worn wheel bearings can cause a shake? i don't think so......hmmm.
i would have had them swap the front wheels to the rear, this would let you know if its in the tires.or have you tried a tire rotation yet?
poor shocks though.id be tempted to replace the shocks before digging to deep.at least just the fronts for now.
I would just stop looking and replace the shocks. If you know you have bad parts you are really chasing a ghost... fix whats bad then see what your new symptoms are.
bilstein or rancho? I had ranchos all the way around on the 6.0 and loved them bilstein are a little more expensive, I'll just do front shocks for now as thats going to cost $100 and I'm not going to know what I'm doing when I go to pull the old ones off lol, I've never heard of worn shocks causing front vibration? any one else?
thanks for the site warozz, also can anyone answer if bad shocks can make vibration like I am having? will I be able to install my leveling kit once I put on these new shocks or will I need to buy them again so that the extra 2" wont over extend them
I had 9000 on the 6.0 when I got it, however I was planning on putting the 5000 on this truck, I'm looking right now and don't know what to do about the lift height, before the snow flies I'm adding two inch level kit up front but need the shocks know so the vibration leaves me alone, should I get the shocks for 2" lift or 0"
could bad shocks cause my front end to sag a tiny bit?? ---Edit
