While it is certainly worth the price, I came home with my wad of twenties. It is completely covered in mildew. Some of the windows were open. I assume the interior would need a full replacement and sterilization. Also, the ductwork would likely need to be replaced.
I should go buy it and nab the rims.
Buying another complete teardown is not going to propel me on the way of being able to purchase a better complete truck. At least not in LOML's eyes. Politics!
Good morning Eric, Steve and the rest of MN stopping by!! Finally a nice cool morning!
Eric glad to hear you are getting some money back for your eggs! LOL It can get pretty chatty in here in the evenings. haha Yeah that truck would not be something other than parts especially if the windows were open. Can we say mold!! Not good especially for that new little one of yours!
I think that it might be worth picking up for the parts. I could use the non split rims for my flatbed. Actually, the entire frame may be a great candidate to put my body onto. But, for that matter, that would not be ahead any on the interior.
It'd likely require another $150 or so to tow it home.
I wonder if it'd fit on our 20' skidsteer trailer. If so, I'd be over capacity to haul with my van or FIL's half ton. But, it's only about 30 miles and there are country roads to be taken.
It should fit on there and a skidsteer trailer should handle the wait ok. If the trailer has brakes and you take back roads you should be ok. Other wise you could pull the drive shaft and pull it with a car toter from uhaul. I think the front wheels would fit on there...not sure about the weight though.
Good morning Dave!! Yep I like this weather! That is one thing about having that camping gtg in october.....it should be nice and cool! Tom will love it!
