That is great that you can make it! We are planning on leaving here about 12-12:30 and it will take a couple hours to get there I suppose.
It was actually very close to home, and would have only missed it by .5 miles at the most, but it was very very weak, barely broke any small tree branches.

I was thinking on leaving work early on Friday, but if I bring the 5er to work with me it is only 10 miles to the CG.

Yeah, I know, but I always wanted to see one, now I want to see a bigger one, but in the middle of some field some where.

How many sites did you reserve Jay, I remember 6 correct? Will there be enough room for me, or are all the sites spoken for?

Wow Lee that was a little close. Seeing it out in a field would like you said would be a little more comfortable!! I think Mike has friday off and will also be there early so he may see this and confirm. Lee you look like you are gonna have the shortest drive but don't I get an award for the longest drive! Lol

That would be nice to get back on there before this weekend! Say did you ever call Brian on your tranny issues?

You know, I have not. I suspect it is too late to do much with it. Something just feels funny the last few time driving. I was going to get that bed liner and doing 70 on the interstate and my temps hit 170.

Yeah we may have to go for a ride with you this weekend and see if you can make it do the 'funny" thing. Hopefully it hangs together for you!

I wonder if I could hook my scan gauge up to your truck and check the trans temp with that, or being an 01, did you not have a factory trans temps sensor?

My computer is too stupid to give that info Lee. I do have two seperate guages hooked up to two different sensors. They do read different temps but they were both climbing that day. Granted it was over 90 out too but that seems high running unloaded and no topper either.

I would like someone else to drive this thing and see what they think

My V10 will run about 80 over ambient empty before my new cooler, now it is about 70 over.

When I towed my 5er to Canada I was about 90-100 over in OD and 100 - 120 over in D and that is with the additional Hayden cooler. I did see temps up to 220 when pulling a 10% grade for 6 miles, and it was only 60 out.
