Don,
I like it! thats what I'm going to have to do on mine to get around my tank.

Right now I have straight pipes that dump down in front of the rear axle. I get a resonance just of idle in the cab, of course it would probably help if I had any kind of interior....lol

I made the left side a mirror copy of the stock right side using repro pieces. Shocks are not on yet in the pic but they clear fine and no issues with the stock brake line. I plan to run a spare in the stock location also.

Don and Gearhead, it looks like you just bent the stock brakeline bracket to aim it down more?

In looking at the pic I guess I did but I don't remember doing it. I just went and looked again and I have the shocks on there now and there is still a couple inches of clearance to the exhaust pipe. Since the other end of the hose is the one that is going to move the bracket could be bent back up more.

I know it's not much help:

where did you get that fuel tank?

I bought the tank from a guy on eBay about 8 years ago. He was selling a boat load that he got from his work. He worked at a place that installed truck bodies on big trucks. The new chassis would come into the plant with these temporary tanks, the company would pull them and install larger tanks. At the time I bought this one he said he had twenty tanks. It's been a long time since I bought the tank and have lost his contact information. There are places that sell tanks that look pretty close to this one. I had to move the fill tube and sending unit location. The new tank places will build them to your specs:
