Leaking intake manifold
Fellas ,I 'm having a problem with a intake manifold leak on my 300 six with stock manifold. I replaced the old gasket with a new Felpro and torqued in seqence all the bolts (26 ft. lbs) and then tightened the 3 bolts that mate the intake and exhaust together with that 3 holed square gasket and it still leaks ! Should I dismantle again and just use hi -temp silicon goop or what? Any thoughts or direction would be extremely helpful.Thanks, 34 suede

I had a leak on my 292 when i took the manifold off to paint it. I bought a new gasket for it and put gasket sealer on it and then tightened it down well ( i didn't torque it, that would have been the smart thing to do) and that sealed it up. I would try the gasket sealer.
