Blue Oval Logo

I am going to get some new stainlees trim for my grille and thought about covering up the crank hole with a Blue Oval. I could get trim without the hole or do it like this. I know the hole looks original but I don't like it. What ya think?

Looks fine, but it's one of those things uniquely '50's, like vent windows -- you don't see trucks with crank holes any more! I'd be proud of it!

A lot of modified trucks just use an extra non hole slat to cover the hole. I have thought that the Ford logo would look go there.

Ahhhh

...there's nothing quite so pleasing as opening a thread, scrolling down to read it and being confronted with a full screen pic of that beautiful 48-50 grill

oh, yea, the blue oval looks good

I took this picture at a truck car show to see how mine will look when it is finished. It should look just like this, imagine a Blue Oval on that one.

What can I say except great minds think alike. Mine was originally an F3 and we cut it down to an F1. I think you did the same didn't you?
