I didn't do anything special to display the temp. It was on the upper line (low int,) It is a little hard to see. There is one thing I would like to see. I have the "towing" button on the end of the gear select lever. Push the button in, the gear numbers are listed on the right side of the LCD display. I would like to see gear gear
Thats really interesting because I checked mine this morning at all it has in the upper right hand corner is the compass direction. I wonder if you have a newer firmware for the display. Do you have automatic temperature controls in the truck? My exterior temperature is shown between the two temperature dials. I also noticed that on the guage details there is a blank page on the right most page. I wonder if they are saving that for something....
I just went out and looked. On the Gauge Detail there are 3 pages, the first page at the top line Temp, Direction. The second page, allows you to calibrate the compass. Page 3 is blank. No I don't have the automatic temp control. I don't believe there are any software changes between ours. How ever I did get info there is a new software update coming. At the end of the month or early September a new change will increase HP by 10, increase torque by 65 and fuel mileage will go up 20 percent. It's 10B-17
OK that explains why the temperature does not show on mine. Yeah I was reading about the new firmware for the engine. That is really cool. I wonder what the third page on the guage detail will be for. It would be so cool if you could make a custom page with whatever engine details you want. IE Regen status etc etc.
I agree it would be nice if they were to make a user page. It would be easy enough to do. I was wondering why the transmission gear numbers were not displayed. When i hit either the plus or minus button on the gear shift stock the numbers are displayed. It would be nice to be able to see what gear you are in. It looks as all the software is in place.
I just push the plus button when I am driving and leave the gear display showing on the screen. It stays there until I decide to look at something else.

I think your asking about having the gears display without being in tow mode. All you have to do while you are in drive is push up on the gear shift on the gear select lever.
talk to guy that drove from alberta to vancouver and he has 20000km (12500mi) on his truck. he said he was getting the better part of 25mi/gal. he did an oil change at 10k (6200mi) and said he bought 2.5gal of DEF (during oil change) and he couldnt get it all in the tank.
I have a hard time taking that at face value. DEF is injected when the exhaust temps get high and is used at the highest rate when towing. To go that far on a single charge of DEF, you'd have to be running pretty cold. Sorry pog, I don't buy it.
maybe he meant to say 4.5gal? i have no idea i dont own one of these trucks clearly. you probably know more then him. i was just surprised by the mileage he is getting. he said he could go 750km (466mi) on one tank and he said it takes about 80L (21gal) to fill and i think that works out to 21-22 mi/gal. i guess he didnt hand calculate it. 25mi/gal just seemed too good..
No way on the DEF number but with careful throttle control he could see 22 mpg highway running empty. I can do it when I want to see big numbers but the truck is too much fun to drive at normal throttle settings. I get 19 to 20 that way

Rickatic how many miles do you have on your truck. The best I can do is 18 mpg on the freeway at 70.
