P0299 code
I was driving today CEL came on. Got it scanned turns out its a P0299 Turbo Underboost code. I was wondering if someone could tell me a few things to look at before I spend money to get it fixed. Turbo sounds healthy and I can hear it boost. I had a local mom and pop scan it(free) but they didnt clear the code so I dont know if its still an issue, Ill go back and have them clear it.

The PO299 can actually be over/under boost or anything else concerning the turbo. Mine did the same as yours and the truck ran great. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the turbo. Said it was beyond rebuilding. Covered under warranty. That's all I can tell you.
