97 E150 5.4 Vacuum question

Hi guys, great forum! My wifes E150 has 3 hard vacuum hoses running down the passenger side of the engine to 3 hard lines on the frame. 2 of the lines were disconected and the 3rd came loose while reaching in to get the other 2 loose ones. The connections were all brittle. Now that I know why the engine is running like crap, does anyone know the order of these lines? 2 are yellow. I think they are the vapor management valve (VMV) vacuum hoses. Any direction anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated!

Kevin
P.S. The van has 225,000+ miles!!!

I have a feeling my '02 is quite different.
Try an internet image search for your engine - you may get lucky.

Almost regardless what the hoses are now if they're cracked and in need of replacing I'd do that ASAP. In fact I'd begin checking every other vacuum hose and replace them as well. Time alone will degrade them under the hood with that much heat.

These things rely upon so much interconnected and cross functional dependent almost anything anywhere can cause some sort of problem.

I believe the '97's are a bit different from the '98s and up---I found this out several times by assuming close in years meant compatibilty with various parts and system components!
