Thanks for the reply I'll look into that hose. A friend of mine is a ford mechanic kinda seems like their hands are tied by ford. No code every things fine no warrenty coverage.

Oops! Sorry, I didn't clarify except for "long haul" truckers. These are Cummins ISX engines mostly, hence the amount of miles with out problems. But a DPF (the filter itself, not regen process) on an ISX cummins works the same as on any other diesel.

i had the same problem, took to dealer. the dpf was good, he reset some of the regen parameters, and all seams good so far and was covered under warrenty. just got done pulling 4 loads of cattle,through the berkshires and all was good.
