Hey everyone the PO of my truck broke the end of the shifter off and i was wondering how much it would cost oem or any, its a 1999 ford f250 superduty automatic thanks

well i think it broke entirely, its not the little button that goes into the shifter its the part that houses the button but that may be what you're talking about? its the part that says o/d or whatever that is broken off, there is just a silver tube coming part way out and three wires and some teeth things

I just meant the cap that goes on the end of that.
I have never head of one breaking like that before. You might have to tear into the colum and replace the whole shifter to fix that.

he said he got mad and shifted it into park to hard, does anyone know the price to get the shifter or would i need to get a whole column

Not a whole column, but you will need to tear into the colum to change it.
That is what you need to swap out.
I can not find the part online, so you will either have to call the dealer or FTE parts guy during the day.
