Aux Light Switch

I'm wanting to add a push bar with a couple of lights on my 09 FX4. I was wondering if their is an aux switch or an OEM one that will pop in the storage compartment hole that I can use or get. I really don't want to add a gaudy aftermarket one so I'm hoping there is a way through OEM ford parts. Has anybody added lights to their rig?

Silver, very interesting! I like the ides but how are they secured to the little change shelf? What auto store did you buy them from? They almost look factory. Also what kind of equipment are you running with them?

That's pretty cool. Unfortunately, I don't have a center console.

Fortunately I do, however, you would think they would make some switch box like the Super Duty's have that could slip right into the storage tray hole in the dash to the right of the radio.

The Raptor has a set of switches much like the Super Duty's upfitter switches. But, these are mounted on the flow-through console.

Unfortunately, this is the only auxiliary switch solution provided to the F150 line-up so far.

if yours has the stupid little change holder thingy on the dash by your steering column, i would suggest you taking a dremel to cut off the bottom lip of it to make it flush and then continue with the dremel to recess the rest of the change holder so you can glue a similar looking solid piece of plastic to it and then just cut out or drill the appropriate hole for whatever kind of switch you like. just an idea.

well on mine i had 4 55w hella lights, interior lighting and a one spare.

what you will need to do is remove the panel by taking the truck out of park. the with both hands pull up on the hole center trim, once it off you can drill the holes for the switches. they have a nut that holes them on from the back side, then take a coat hanger and you can fish a wire from the switch right down to the passager side floor

which then you can run your out side wires in the truck through the main wiring harnes loom under the hood

i got my stuff at autozone but i know adavance and napa also sell the same part and my switches cost more but they lighted up blue when on

Thats exactly what I was thinking about the two buttons as well. Now if you could turn them into hot cigarette attachments then you could use for cell or other accessory.
