There were quite a few of them made, but not nearly as many as the other trucks. I don't see many of them these days. If you found a pretty nice one at a good price, I would get it.

Its made for Ford by a separate company. Here is one. The way you see it in this picture is probably exactly the way it came, including the wheels and tires.

Thanks! Personaly i don´t like those drawings on the side, i think this trucks are nice in one color and some crome or 2 tone paint. For me with strips, spoilers etc it looks overloaded of trim. Of course everyone has his taste.......

I think the flareside/supercab combo is a *******ization that Ford should have never allowed. The newer flareside bed is supposed to be retro, but when Ford made "real" flareside beds, they only were available on regular cab trucks.

I don't know if I would go that far, but I agree that regular cab flaresides do look the best for sure.

yeah, the one im looking at is white and only says mark III on the back, on the tailgate i think it was. are the rims progressive rims? the one im intersted in buying does have high mileage and needs some body work, but nothing major,i dont think anyway, and runs good. will it tell if it's original mark III by checking vin cause how do i know someone didnt get the tailgate for this truck from an actual mark III and this is just a regular flareside

Be the biggest skeptic till you can rest assured your gonna be ok with it.

there was a 1999 F150 Lightning for sale here for $2,900, i looked it over, and there were NO issues, the guy was army airborne and this is a military town, so when he said he was getting shipped to the war for a long tour, I didn't doubt it.

the bank denied me the loan, saying if I were to default it would be too hard to sell, I let them know they are unaware fo the people I talk to on a daily basis.

extended cab flare sides are not that rare(i have one,pic in the link under my user name), but I think a mark III flare side extended cab might be somewhat rare.
