Fault codes

I'm having a problem with my 2000 f350 v10, I've got two fault codes that keep coming back, the first is p0171 and p0174 which both are for system too lean bank 1&2. I'm not sure what "bank" means in this case, I'm really hoping someone has came across this issue or can guide me to some info on how I can eliminate this problem, thanks for your time in advance.

Bank 1 is the one with cylinder #1 in it. Passenger side bank of cylinders.

Since you're getting BOTH sides lean, I'd look for a vacuum leak. The notorious PCV elbow at the throttle body is known for causing this.

If that's good, I'd check the MAF and see if it's clean. Air getting past the MAF without it reading it correctly will cause lean codes.
