'65 Mercury M100
Since I'm retired with no obligations, I can do what I want, whenever I want to, except...when 'She, who must be obeyed' has other ideas.
Since she works 5 days a week, this usually occurs only on weekends.
I was looking through your gallery again, and noticed that you have a spare wheel carrier in the box on the left hand side. Does it look like this one:

Any chance you could get a measurement from the edge of the front box rail to the front of the bracket or to the center side bolt? I'm hoping that it won't really matter that you have an M100 and I've got an M250, and that we likley have different diameter tires? I'm thinking that you would just brace the tire on the fender well, and then spin it until the carriage bolt lines up with a rim hole?

Fits: 1964/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD / 1967/72 F100/350.
Will not fit the 1957/60 wrong beds installed on some 1961/66 F100/350's.
This was an optional accessory available factory installed (was installed on the left [drivers] side, in front of the rear wheel) or at the parts counter.
Anyone interested in one...or two?

Amazingly enough, given the design of a flat plate with 4 round strut rods, after all that time kicking around the shelves, the thing bolted right up to the existing holes in my bed side.
Now my spare is where it belongs and my truck has a "complete" feeling. Not restored, mind you, just not missing anything.
